Surface3 vs Beautiful Crime

Surface 3 img03 1500px.jpg

As the art world becomes more and more synergised with the digital age and all the technology that comes with it, artists are increasingly exploring the possibilities of meshing art with technology.

This exhibition, featuring 101 unique artworks, has given the artists we work with a fantastic opportunity to illuminate the Surface 3's ability to combine creativity, art and technology on the go, in ways they hadn't explored before.

A mixture of artists with backgrounds including painting, digital art, photography and illustration have created a wide variety of works. Whilst artists like D*Face, Carne Griffiths and Pam Glew explore tone, texture and depth, artists like Saroj Patel explore the natural world. Stefan Sieler and Agent X are interested in humans doing more, via the fantastic shapes created by the physical body in motion. Pascal Barker's photographic works depict the tools of various trades; whilst artists like Russell Marshall and LOX have taken some of popular culture's favourite icons and immortalised them in their own unique styles.
